This FREE event is fun for the whole family! Meet pirates and wenches, listen to great music, enjoy the food, and browse the many merchant tents! Historic district of Barnegat - Route 9 and East Bay Ave. Free shuttle bus available. Saturday, September 11, 2010: "Pirates Day Concert - Bent Fenders" 7:00PM, followed by fireworks at dusk, at the Barnegat Municipa Dock. September 18 and 19, 2010: Quilts Along the Bay Annual Quilt Show, at the Barnegat Recreation/Community Center (behind Town Hall), West Bay Avenue in Barnegat. The Challenge Quilt category for this year is "What's Your Inspiration?".  Quilters will be challenged to make a quilt based on whatever inspires them and are being asked to include the picture, quotation, or whatever inspired them along with their entry so they can be displayed together.  There will be a special exhibit of rag dolls and related handmade items.  A doll workshop may be available.  Additonal details will be provided when available.
